Cycling club rides
Cycle Enfield aims to help anyone regardless of ability to start cycling as a transport option, but we know that people cycle for lots of reasons. If you’re interested in sports-type cycling, there are three local cycle clubs that organise regular rides in and around Enfield:
British Cycling has teamed up with HSBC UK to produce a one-stop shop for lots of things you need to know about cycling, including guided rides and equipment tips. With information about rides, social and big bike events, this website brings together a lot of information in one place. Please visit Let's Ride for further information, and British Cycling's club finder tool which will help you find cycling clubs and activities in your area.
British Cycling has also introduced a UK-wide system of guided rides for women and girls, to encourage them to take part in cycling: the Breeze network . These rides are led by women who are experienced cyclists, skilled in everything from plotting routes to giving advice in order to make cycling as enjoyable as possible. Rides are graded for different levels, and newcomers can be confident they will be encouraged all the way. Some of the rides are suitable for children to come along.
There are no activities or events on this day.
