Angel Walk N18

Works are due to commence on 27 January and will last approximately 6 months. These works are being completed as part of the Cycle Enfield works and will include:

  • A welcoming gesture at the schemes interface with Montagu Road
  • A segregated walking and cycling link to Angel Gardens and onwards to Conduit Lane via an existing ramp
  • Landscaped enhancements along the length of the new link
Firs Lane

New raised parallel crossing has been installed. Footway widened to accommodate 2.5m wide cycle track. New width restriction is in place (just waiting for gate to be installed). High friction surfacing has still be laid on approaches to new crossing.

Barrowell Green

Work is ongoing to widen the existing footpath alongside Clowes Sports Ground to 3m which will become a shared use path for pedestrians and cyclists.
