It’s not all about cycle routes

While construction work on the cycle routes on Green Lanes and the Hertford Road is understandably often at the top of our agenda, we thought it would be worthwhile to take a look at some of the other activities that are an integral part of the Cycle Enfield scheme to help people be more confident in their ability to ride safely in the borough on a well-maintained bike and then have somewhere secure to park it.

In the first 10 months of 2017 we have:

Installed 7 hangars with 42 secure bike parking spaces for local residents with a further 108 spaces already planned for 2018. If you would like to request bike parking near you please click here .

Maintained and fixed 2,737 bikes via our Dr Bike service at various locations across the borough. Find out where the next tramadol online purchase FREE sessions are here

Trained 23 local residents to maintain their bikes and those of their family and friends. For details about the next session click here

Escorted 122 locals at our Sunday bike rides through Enfield’s beautiful parks. To book on the next FREE ride click here

Taught 3,472 young people for FREE how to ride safely through the borough. To find out about cycle training click here

Helped 203 adults for FREE to get into cycling via individual and group training to increase their confidence and knowledge to help ride safely. To find out about cycle training click here

In addition, we have arranged circa 200 sessions of inclusive cycling for those with disabilities or mobility issues to ride safely, as well attending numerous schools, GPs and community groups and much more.
