Healthy Streets and Beryl launch Bike Week in Enfield

Bike Week 2019 runs from 8th to 16th June. Bike Week is an annual celebration to showcase cycling. Riding a bike can easily be a part of everyday life and Bike Week is here to inspire people all over the UK to give cycling a try.
There will be a number of events taking place in Enfield over the week to celebrate Bike Week.
The Healthy Streets Team will be joining forces with Beryl Bikes, the new public bike hire scheme which is coming to Enfield later this month, on Saturday 8th June, 11am to 3pm in Enfield Fountain Island. Information will be provided on how the scheme will work, parking bays and you will also get a sneak preview of the bikes themselves. For anyone who can’t ride or wants to improve their cycling skills, the Healthy Streets Team will be on hand to provide information on all of the free cycling activities that are on offer in the borough.
On Sunday 9th June, 11am to 3pm, the Healthy Streets Team and Dr Bike will be at the 80th Anniversary of Jubilee Park event. This is a fun event for all the family and there will be music, a dog show, health checks, games and a playstreet with activities including riding bikes and scooters and much more. Bring your bikes along to Dr Bike for a free check up and minor repairs and come and ask the team about all of the free cycling related activities we have on offer.
On Saturday 15th June from 10am to 4pm, Dr Bike will be outside Enfield Town Library and will be providing free check-ups and minor repairs for bikes, So grab you bike and bring it along to get bike ready for the coming summer.
