Enfield Council have partnered with London bike brand, Beryl, to bring dockless bike hire back to Enfield! Launching on 28 June 2019, people travelling in and around Enfield will be able to hire a bike for short term use.
Beryl bikes are fitted with on bike GPS technology and use a smartphone app that unlocks a bike for hire. They also have Beryl’s patented ‘Laserlight’ that helps makes you more visible to people driving.
Anyone who lives, works, studies or visits Enfield can hire the emerald coloured bikes using the Beryl app, available to download on the App Store and Google Play Store. The bikes will be located at Beryl Bays across the Borough that are painted in the Beryl emerald green.
Download the app to get started and hire a bike! For more information on Beryl and the bike share scheme, visit beryl.cc.
The bike share scheme is an important initiative of the Cycle Enfield scheme to make it easier and safer for people to choose to cycle for short journeys around the Borough.
