What are the Cycle Enfield Exhibitions?
Cycle Enfield are holding exhibitions to provide an opportunity for the public to input their early comments, ideas and issues so that these can be incorporated into the first designs. Watch our video to find out more:
What have you been working on before now?
Up until now, work has focussed on data collection. We have been collating lots of base information so that as we develop schemes we are able to accurately assess the impacts. This includes topographical mapping surveys, traffic survey, parking and loading surveys, town centre surveys.
Where are the designs?
Following the exhibitions, we are now developing early design work. These exhibitions were an opportunity for the community to input into shaping these potential designs, rather than designing in isolation and then asking for comment.
This is why no specific plans were shown at these exhibitions – we want your input to inform the first design options.
Have I missed my chance to comment?
Following these exhibitions, there will be a further series of events over the summer where the community will be able to comment further, seeing the designs as they develop. However, on each exhibition webpage you can submit comments any further comments which will be added to those recieved at the actual events.
We are taking this exhibition approach to enable the design of the best scheme possible. It is only after we have gone through this process that we will start a full public consultation.
