Beryl bike share launches in Enfield!

Today Enfield Council in partnership with Beryl, London based bike company, launch the Enfield bike share scheme!

From today, anyone who lives, works, studies or visits Enfield can hire the emerald coloured bikes using the Beryl app, available to download on the App Store and Google Play Store. The bikes will be located at Beryl Bays across the Borough that are painted in the Beryl emerald green, pictured below.

To find bikes near you, open the app and look for your closest bay (shown below, the number is how many bikes are currently available for hire). Use the app to unlock a bike, and when you have finished your ride park it in a bay to avoid an extra fee (more information on payments and fees available here). All bays are visible through the app.

Fifty bikes are now available across the Borough, with more to come in August and September. We will also be painting more Beryl bays to ensure there is adequate parking space for the bikes in various locations. If you have a suggestion for a bay location, please pin it to this map.

We are excited to hear about your experience of using the new bikes! Share your photos and stories with us on Twitter and Facebook.

You can message the Beryl team directly through the app if you have any questions or issues using a bike or the app. For general questions, please see their website. For information on our partnership with Beryl, please contact us at cycle@enfield.gov.uk.
